In this folder are the files (in the cvirteFiles zipped folder) that the installshield must install for the CVI Runtime engine. First there is a folder called cvirte that contains miscellaneous font and binary files. Next there are two DLLs: cvirt.dll and cvirte.dll. The folder and the two files are to be written to the C:\Windows\System32 directory.

When the NI software is installed, the following keys are added to the registry:
